this isnt a new complaint by any means but i really swallowed this when i tried installing max payne 3 on my pc and realized i only had 50gb left. the game is 30gb on pc and only 12gb on ps3 where ive been playing it up until now. i get that the pc version supports higher quality textures and audio and all that but its still crazy that game sizes on pc can be way bigger than console versions.

i really dont know what to say with this movie. i havent seen even half as many movies this year as last year what with the strikes delaying release dates and a general dip in interest but this movie i knew i had to see (cus i wasnt gonna get apple tv just to watch it). there havent been too many new movies recently that really held my attention the way this movie does. martin scorsese is still at the top of his game and i have to say that it really helped me to get out of a rut ive been in these past few weeks. this is a movie im gonna be thinking of for a really long time.

decided to start making art with cels and its been a fun experiment so far. made a ton of mistakes already including not flipping the cel over which i knew i had to do but it went right over my head when i started painting. im posting it to my blog instead of the art portal since it is technically traced. i went with ace from the game space ace, despite that being the only don bluth game i havent played (update: finally played it. it's far out if i do say so myself), i was drawing a couple of his characters and he turned out the best looking so naturally he became a subject for experimenting with. i really love the don bluth art style and want to try drawing more characters in that style. eventually ill get to the level of animating with cels but for now, i gotta learn to paint inside the lines better.

not much to discuss here. i like movies and some tv shows. i have a letterboxd if you are for some reason interested in that sort of stuff.
